What they are saying about Mister Barry’s
work in the hospital…

IMG_0389Artistry: “The title of this section, REALLY applies to Barry, because he truly has elevated his play to an ART.  Each room seemed to contain beautifully well-crafted gems of art, and was a text book of what we speak about in our work.  There was always that first “listening breath” upon entry, than the checking in with his partner, John, then play that was driven by what was seen in the room, or suggested by the child, and then finally “the Harpo moment” – the skill that made everyone sit up and know this was not a guy who just threw on a costume five minutes ago, and decided to visit the sick kids – Barry’s magic always contained a “WOW factor!!”  It was art!”
